A friend asked me to create a big sign for his café a while ago, and I’m finally sharing the progress in this blog.
As he knows I am a maker, he asked if I could 3D print him a sign. Since I don’t have a giant printer, only a Prusa i3 MK3S+ 3D printer, I split the design into multiple elements/characters like below:


To add more depth, we decided to elevate the prints a few centimeters. I printed many “columns” and attached them to the back of the logo with hot glue.


After attaching the columns, I preallocated the design before the final fixture with hot glue.


Final step: hot glue!
